Kidd Navy

This project was to create a restaurant that only sold one item on the menu. Being a seafood lover, I thought it would be a great opportunity to brand an oyster bar. Kidd Navy is inspired by Captain Kidd, the English pirate, and his search for the hidden treasure, which in this case is the tastiest oysters. The design concept is old English newspapers meet the ocean.

The easy layout of the menu would highlight the daily shipment of oysters from around the world. Making it editable per order is one of the main features of most oyster menus.

The brand would then be seen across all different types of collateral such as sailing burgees seen throughout the restaurant, postcards that would be handed out with the receipt at the end of the meal, and a matchbook as a take away item for customers.
